Open Energy Solutions Inc. ("OES," "we," "us") does not sell the information we collect, and we share it only as needed to provide, secure, and support our services. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the limited cases in which we share it.

This policy covers people who deal with OES directly: visitors to openenergysolutions.com, people who contact us or buy OpenDSO™ software through Google Cloud Marketplace, and authorized users of OpenDSO. Data that OpenDSO processes on behalf of our utility customers is covered by their agreements with us, as described under "Data we process for our customers."

• Contact and account information, such as name, business email, phone, job title, and company, when you contact us, request a demo, or set up an account.
• Marketplace purchase information from Google Cloud Marketplace, such as your billing account ID, order and entitlement details, usage for billing, private offer terms, and the contact details of people who negotiate or accept them. Google processes payments for Marketplace purchases, including private offers; we do not receive payment card numbers.
• OpenDSO user information, such as login details, features used, and activity and error logs.
• Website information, such as IP address and browser/device type, are collected automatically from every visitor for security and operation purposes; and only if you accept them, analytics cookies are collected for additional information such as pages visited, time on site, and approximate location.

We use this information to provide and support OpenDSO, manage subscriptions and billing, communicate with you about your account and our products, keep our services secure, improve our website and services, and meet legal obligations. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with:

• Google, which hosts our services and runs Google Cloud Marketplace, to process your purchase and operate the service, and which provides Google Analytics for our website
• Service providers that help run our business, such as email and support tools, who may use it only to provide services to us
• Authorities, when required by law
• A successor company, if OES is merged or acquired, which remains bound by this policy

OpenDSO processes grid and meter data on behalf of our utility customers. For that data, the utility is in control and OES acts only on its instructions, under the utility's agreement and Data Processing Addendum with OES. We do not sell this data or use it for any other purpose. If you are a utility customer with questions about your data, please contact your utility.

We protect information with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and access controls, and host our services on Google Cloud. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Our website and other web properties may use cookies for basic functions. We do not load Google Analytics or set any analytics cookies until accepted via the cookie banner shown on a first visit. Once accepted, Google Analytics is used to help us understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, time on site, and approximate location; it sets cookies and sends this information to Google, which processes it under its own terms (see how Google uses this data). You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" button shown on our website, or decline by using your browser's cookie controls. Where a cookie banner may not be shown, you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Our services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy and will post any changes here with a new effective date.
