Deployment is where most engagements end. Ours starts there with experienced engineers who have taken systems from energization to steady state.

Utilities and grid operators are deploying distributed energy resources, microgrids, and storage faster than they can staff to operate them. The hardest failures rarely surface in the lab; they appear months later, in a storm, a protocol fault, or a control sequence that misbehaves in the field. On pilots, where as-built documentation drifts from reality, one unresolved issue can stall the case for scaling.


Offerings

Once a pilot or small-scale grid solution is deployed, OES stays engaged — getting the system to steady state, then maintaining, troubleshooting, and tracking the system for its life, and feeding the scripts, test cases, and fixes into the next site.

Root-Cause Diagnostics

Packet captures, sequence-of-events logs, and protocol-level analysis, with hardware-in-the-loop replication to reproduce anomalies and validate fixes before they touch the live system.

Documentation Reconciliation

Rebuilding accurate as-builts (e.g., one-line diagrams, control logic, communication mappings) so troubleshooting and scale-up decisions rest on verified fact rather than institutional memory.

Performance Trending

Monitoring system behavior over time to separate one-off events from systemic issues, then translating findings into prioritized, phased recommendations the operating team can act on.

Scale-Up Coordination

Packaging test scenarios, scripts, modified control logic, and simplified tooling into a repeatable approach other sites and future deployments can reuse without rebuilding from scratch.


OES is vendor-neutral by practice and small by design. Senior engineers work your problem directly across SCADA, ADMS, RTAC, and the protocols your system actually runs (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, ICCP), so you aren't coordinating a controls vendor, a networking vendor, and an integrator. You work with engineers who perform the assessment, write the analysis, and fix the problem, not an account manager relaying it secondhand.
